Client Profile
Jimano’s Pizzeria has been in business for 20 years and is known as the local community pizzeria. With 9 locations, Jimano’s serves quality and delicious food with friendly customer service.
Problem
Making changes in order to grow as a multi-location and multi-faceted business like Jimano’s is time and training intensive. Jimano’s brand was in need of a fresh, and more modern look. Their website was outdated, falling behind in usability and overall style when compared to others in the industry. Most importantly, Jimano’s was in need of good metrics to implement a strategic and comprehensive marketing plan.
Solution
Beginning in February 2017, AdeptPlus worked thoroughly with Jimano’s Pizzeria to overhaul their entire web presence. Starting with their website, we implemented a new, fresh design that provided an excellent mobile experience while properly measuring the results. We also prioritized Search Engine Optimization to attract new customers. We overhauled Jimano’s online citations including Google My Business and Yelp pages among others.
We continued on to provide a complete rebrand, including a new logo, and a redesign of menus, signage and all existing print items. We turned their email marketing campaigns into a proactive and professional way to increase revenue. We implemented a process for getting more reviews and promptly responding to reviews.
Finally, we began managing their social media channels which have multiple goals. We help turn existing customers into raving fans and increase customer retention. We also target new customers and show them the Jimano’s experience.
Benefit
Website traffic started growing on day 1. All key performance indicators increased drastically and continue to improve.
The Challenge
Jimano’s was seeking to generate more customers but had been growing dissatisfied with their current online presence. Competitors were investing in their websites, in social media and in email marketing while Jimano’s had fallen behind. With 9 locations, Jimano’s needed an expert to guide them in carefully turn the website into a sales engine.
In short, they wanted to grow their online marketing, but lack of a comprehensive marketing strategy and analytics made it difficult.
The Solution
We thoroughly studied Jimano’s competitors and did extensive keyword research. This allowed us to navigate the new website to the top of search results.
We designed a new user interface to make it easier and faster to find a location and see the menu.
We overhauled their branding and implemented the Jimano’s experience across all marketing channels.
The Results
The Jimano’s Pizzeria project resulted in some impressive success metrics in the first 50 days:
- The number of sessions increased by 10% and maintained growth in the following 2 years after.
- In the first 3 months, the average session duration increased by 18.5% and the bounce rate (the percent of users who viewed the page and left without taking action) decreased by 12.6%.
- Implementing small adjustments upfront immediately generated thousands of dollars of revenue.
- Jimano’s now has a clear understanding of their metrics and it continues to improve over time as we continue to optimize.
Through Search Engine Optimization alone, Jimano’s saw a full return on investment in just under 3 months. Their search engine optimization, social media, and email newsletter KPIs continue to improve over time.
"We found AdeptPlus when they worked with a colleague of ours—we were impressed by what Peter and his team did. When it came time to work with us, they made it very simple to understand what we needed to do to thrive online, and then they helped us do exactly that.”
